Aftercare: The Most Overlooked Part of Any Treatment
How the days after a treatment shape its results — and the simple rituals that make all the difference.

The treatment itself is only part of the story. What happens in the days that follow shapes how beautifully — and how lastingly — your skin responds.
The first 24 hours
Most in-clinic treatments leave the skin slightly more sensitive and more permeable. Keep things simple: a gentle cleanser, a barrier-supportive moisturiser, and broad-spectrum SPF. Avoid acids, retinoids, hot water, vigorous exercise, and alcohol.
Days two to seven
Hydration is the priority — both topically and internally. Continue with gentle products. Reintroduce active ingredients only when your practitioner advises.
Sun protection is non-negotiable
Newly treated skin is more vulnerable to pigmentation. Daily SPF 30 or higher, reapplied through the day, protects every result you have invested in.
Listen, do not push
Mild redness, tenderness or tightness is normal. If anything feels off, contact your clinic — never guess. Good aftercare is not complicated. It is simply consistent.
